Harsh had made it through Grade 12—the first in his family to do so. But with his father working as a daily-wage labourer, the dream of college began to fade under the weight of financial pressure. That’s when he was selected for Arvind Foundation’s Scholarship Program. With the support, he enrolled in a mechanical engineering course—covering tuition, books, and basic expenses. Why we began the scholarship Program
At Arvind, education is a continuum—not a cut-off. While GYANDA supports students through school, many first-generation learners face financial barriers at the college doorstep. Our Scholarship Program steps in at this critical juncture, offering need-based support for tuition and essential academic costs.
In partnership with Vidyasarthi, we built a transparent and inclusive selection process—ensuring that deserving students across Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar aren’t held back by circumstance, but propelled forward by opportunity.
